494: Gotenks crashes Buu through some stuff, and they end up out in the sky exchanging blows. Buu throws Gotenks back into the palace, crashing and breaking the floor and stuff, and Piccolo can't believe what's happening to his palace. Buu's pissed, and it curls itself up like a ball, and Gotenks takes notice of this, and kicks it straight through the floor, out into the sky. Buu flies back over there, and Gotenks prepares to use one of his awesome attacks. Piccolo asks if he can't use an attack without a stupid (cool) pose, and Gotenks says okay, even though it looked really cool. Renzoku Super Donuts! Gotenks shoots out some rings of ki, like multiple Galactica Donuts, and they trap Buu in a little ball. Piccolo thinks it's great, he's sealed away Ma-jin Buu, but Gotenks says no, it'll break out soon, and then prepares for his next attack. Gekitotsu Ultra Buu Buu Volley Ball! Gotenks asks Piccolo if he wants to help, and he says sure, and Gotenks explains that when he says "Here I go!" Piccolo has to say "Okay!" So, "Here I go!" And he throws it to Piccolo, "Okay!" And then they pass it around, they're playing volley ball! Gotenks hits it straight downward towards the Earth, and Piccolo sighs, realizing he wasn't really needed after all. Gotenks flies down, and there's a huge hole, and he says it looks like a meteor just hit.

495: Gotenks calls Buu out, saying he can only stay like this for a little while, and it'll be another hour before he can reach that level again, and Buu listens carefully. Gotenks thinks maybe it really is dead, and laughs about not knowing his own strength as Piccolo arrives. Then Buu fires off a huge blast, and Piccolo says if that had hit the Earth, the world would've been destroyed. Gotenks is really pissed now, and fires off his Renzoku Shine Shine Missiles! ["Shine" = "Die!"] He fires off a whole crapload of blasts into the hole, and Piccolo yells out that he'll destroy the planet. Gotenks says so what, everyone's dead anyways, and Piccolo reminds him that the Dragon Balls might get blown up. (FINALLY someone brought that up.) Gotenks thinks oh well, at least Buu's a lot weaker, but then Buu appears behind him, practically unscathed (well, not unscathed, but certainly unreeling), and Gotenks is pissed. But Piccolo says it's weaker emotionally, since this is the first time it's faced an opponent of near equal power. (Piccolo is quite insightful, it seems.) Gotenks thinks it's only natural that Buu would be scared of him, since he's the strongest in the universe, after all. Piccolo says to keep his guard up, since Buu'll go all out now, and Gotenks says okay. Buu rushes at him, and Piccolo thinks Gotenks isn't much of a hero. Gotenks fires off a blast, and knocks Buu crashing down into the remains of a city, and then rushes at it as Buu fires off a huge mouth blast. Gotenks is startin to look pretty messed up, and then he fires off a counter mouth blast, and now Buu also looks tore up. Gotenks swoops down behind it, and they start exchanging punches, and Gotenks gets the upper hand. Gokuu, still watching attentively on Kaioushin Kai, thinks Gohan might not even get to fight. Then Gotenks prepares to finish it off, and tells Buu it won't come back this time, when he suddenly detransforms.

496: Everyone notices that Gotenks is no longer SSJ3, and Buu smirks and heals itself. Gotenks laughs nervously, and says it was fun, he gives up. Piccolo thinks it's all over, and Gokuu yells for Rou Kaioushin-sama to hurry up, the little dudes've run outta power. Rou Kaioushin-sama tells Gohan to leave, he's been done for a while now. Gohan asks how long, and he says for the past five minutes. Gohan asks why he didn't saying anything sooner, and Rou Kaioushin-sama calls him an idiot, it's more dramatic like this. Gohan realizes he has to hurry, and asks how he changes into a strong fighter like he did before. Rou Kaioushin-sama says just do like he does for the Super Saiya-jin thing, and Gohan blows everyone away with his power. It seems there's not much visual difference in this transformation. Rou Kaioushin-sama says not to be stupid and change so close to him like that, and Gohan can't believe his own power. Gokuu agrees, and wonders if that level can be surpassed the way SSJ can be. Kaioushin-sama says they have to get him to the Earth, and says he and Kibit'll take him, but Kibit says he'll take Gohan by himself. Kaioushin-sama objects, saying he needs to oversee things, but Kibit says they'll just get in the way, and he'll leave right after he takes Gohan. Kaioushin-sama relents, and Gokuu says he'd like to take Gohan there himself, but he can't. Gokuu starts to say goodbye, saying they probably won't see each other again until Gohan dies, and tells him to do his best. They give each other a hug, and then a thumbs up wave goodbye. Rou Kaioushin-sama's pissed that he didn't get any thanks, and...I guess Kibit and Gohan have arrived. Gohan asks Kibit if he can fight in a Gi just like his dad's, and Kibit asks if it was the color of the crap of the Popoluan frogs, and Gohan just says it's orange. It's done, and Gohan says thanks, then Kibit says goodbye, and good luck, and Gohan heads off. Well, it looks as though not only has Gotenks's SSJ3 given out, but the Fusion's gone as well. Goten thinks they're sure to lose now, and Trunks thinks it sucks, since they're gonna die while they're still young. Piccolo says he'll fight with them, even though the best he can probably do is die alongside them. And then they notice Buu's asleep, and Piccolo wonders what it's up to, and then Buu wakes up as it and the three good guys wonder who possesses the tremendous ki that's approaching.

497: Trunks and Goten wonder who it could be, and Piccolo hopes it isn't another enemy. Then Piccolo sees him, and thinks it's Gokuu, but Goten corrects him, realizing it's his brother. Piccolo can't believe that's Gohan, and Gohan's happy he made it in time. Trunks is certainly happy, as is Goten, who says he'd thought he was dead. Gohan says almost, but Kaioushin-sama saved him, and he was with him up until now. Piccolo can't believe that's really Gohan, and thinks his face is a little different (he looks to me like he's matured about ten years), but his ki is completely different, all his gentleness is gone, that's why he couldn't recognize him. Gohan asks about everyone else, and Goten says they're all dead. Even Mom and Dende, he asks, and Goten says yeah. Gohan can't believe Dende's gone, along with their last hope, the Dragon Balls. Buu says they were yummy, and then Gohan thinks to himself about how he can just barely feel someone, and then smirks at Buu (a lot like Vegeta usually does). Buu smirks back (a lot like when Cell or Freeza or the Ginyu Tokusentai or someone would smirk back at Vegeta). Gohan walks up to it, and Buu says not to be stupid, and asks if he's gonna fight it. Gohan says no, he's gonna kill it. Buu laughs, and says it remembers beating the crap outta Gohan. Piccolo thinks there's no way he'll win, and Goten thinks they should fuse to help him, but Trunks says they can't fuse again so soon. Gohan does a little charging up, and then punches Buu in the face, and then kicks it. Buu's pissed, and tries to fight back, but Gohan blocks it and punches it in the gut, then kicks it off into the distance, and flies after it and punches it back the other way. Buu catches itself, then Gohan shows up right behind it, and Buu, along with Piccolo, Trunks, and Goten, look at Gohan in shock.

498: Gohan tells Buu there's no way to win, and Buu smugly says it thought it was him. Gohan asks what it means, and Buu says it felt a strong power growing far away, and it won't let anyone become stronger than it. And Gohan thinks Buu must've wanted to test him, and he says it was wrong. But Buu says it doesn't matter, and then screams that it hates him, and is gonna kill him. Gohan says that's not possible (Gohan is immortal), and Buu says something about looking forward to it. Then Buu starts charging up, and Gohan flies off just before Buu causes itself to explode. Gohan managed to grab the other three, too, and they thank him for saving them. Piccolo asks Gohan if he thinks Buu's dead, and he says no, and Trunks says it must've blown itself up to try and catch Gohan in the explosion. But Gohan says Buu would've tried a lot harder than that if it had wanted to catch him. Piccolo asks if it was maybe trying to run away, since he can't feel its ki, and Gohan says Buu can hide its ki. Goten thinks it must be hiding, and Gohan says it's at least planning something. Trunks says it doesn't matter either way, since Buu can't defeat Gohan, who's almost as strong as Super Gotenks. Goten says no, Gohan's stronger, and Trunks says okay, maybe a little bit. Piccolo asks Gohan how he got that strong, and then some time passes and Gohan explains, I guess. Gohan asks who's got the Dragon Radar, and Piccolo says he does, but the Dragon Balls are useless without Dende. Gohan says no, there's still someone out there, and Piccolo notices he's right, and they all fly off to look for him. Then they notice someone, Mr. Satan and the puppy, and he's begging for a beer. Trunks thinks they should just ignore the unstoppable one, and Piccolo says no, they should bring him, he has what it takes to be a hero, he did try to save the world, after all. They fly off, with Piccolo carrying Satan, and Goten carrying the puppy, and Satan can't believe that Gohan (the weakling) is there. Piccolo wonders why Buu let Dende get away, it had plenty of time to kill him. Gohan asks if he means the time they were trapped in the Room of Spirit and Time, and Piccolo says yeah. Gohan says they came out right after Buu did, and by the ratio of real world time to Room of Spirit and Time time (one second : six minutes), they were out at almost the same instant. Piccolo realizes he got mixed up, and only ten seconds could've passed, so Buu had no time to look for Dende, and then they see Dende down below waving up at them. They all touch down, and Dende explains that Mr. Popo threw him down there, saying he had to live, and Piccolo says he was absolutely right. Satan asks about the sick-looking little brat, and Trunks explains that he's God. Looking through the crystal ball, meanwhile, Gokuu feels good about the Dragon Balls being safe, and Kaioushin-sama asks what the Dragon Balls are, and Rou Kaioushin-sama says it doesn't matter, cause Buu stands no chance. Back on the Earth, Satan finds out that Videl's dead, and can't believe that they can bring her back. Satan says he'll make them pay if they're lying, and Goten says not to worry, when the others notice Buu's on its way there. Piccolo wonders what's changed in an hour, and Gohan says for everyone to stay outta the way, he's gonna finish off Buu, and he also wants to know what's changed.

499: Gohan and Buu're face to face in one of those rocky desert places with lots of random mountain things, and Gohan thinks nothing's changed. Gokuu wonders what's up, and Trunks thinks Buu's just showing off, and it's gonna run away again. Then, Buu suddenly screams out that it wants to fight the little dudes, and Gohan says no, he's the true opponent, but Buu says they'll fight after it finishes the fight with the little dudes. Gohan asks about this, and Buu ignores him and tries provoking the little dudes, asking if they're scared. They both say no, and agree to do it, and Piccolo says no, something's not right. Trunks says Piccolo thinks too much, Buu can't do anything, and says the timing's perfect, now they can fuse again. "Fu...sion...ha!" Gotenks says he's back, the death god of justice, Super Gotenks! Then, Buu thinks to itself about the kid's power, and Piccolo's brains... Gotenks flies over near Gohan, and says he gets to start it off, and finish it. Gohan says okay, and as Gotenks lays down the death threats, some gooey stuff comes up from behind him and swallows him whole. Then some more gooey stuff swallows up Piccolo, and all the gooey stuff flies over to Buu and melds with it, and Buu begins to transform. Gokuu, still watching of course, realizes that that was its plan, and yells out for Gohan to finish it before it completes. But it's too late, and Buu's finished. Buu's wearing an outfit just like Gotenks's, and the thing on its head is a lot longer and hangs down like a pony tail. Hmm, Super Buupinks? ;-) Buu asks Gohan what he thinks, and proclaims that its plan worked out perfectly. He is now the ultimate Ma-jin, and can't think of anything stronger. (But I can...) Gohan says it was a cheap trick, and Buu says it's his own fault, since he went and got stronger than it, and it has to be the strongest. Buu came up with the plan when it felt Gohan's power growing far away in space, and the possibility of someone stronger than it, so Buu thought that if it absorbed Super Gotenks, no one could be stronger. And it overheard them talking about the time limit, so it waited an hour for them to become Super Gotenks again. Gohan says Buu's still an idiot, it would've been better off absorbing him, and Buu says no, there's no fun in being the strongest if there's no good opponents to fight, and its ultimate goal is to kill him. Gohan says he understands.

500: Buu says they'll have to finish the fight quickly, as there's a major time limit to Super Gotenks's power. Gohan says that's a pretty clever observation, and says it was wise to absorb Piccolo too. Gohan then throws a kick, but Buu catches it, and then grabs the other foot. Gohan fires off a blast to try to get away, but Buu just bends backwards and dodges it. As it's bent backwards, the thing on its head stretches out and flies through its legs and wraps around Gohan's neck, and pulls him through its legs, choking him. Does that make any sense? They're now back to back, and Gohan's being choked by the thing on its head. Buu turns around punches Gohan off into a random mountain thing, and then it fires a huge blast Gohan's way that he barely manages to avoid. Buu asks if Gohan's trying to hide, and says he must've realized how weak he is. Gohan rushes at it and gets in a punch, and Buu retaliates by kicking him off into the distance. Then, Buu fires off some Continuous Super Donuts and traps Gohan inside them, and Buu explains that it's one of Gotenks's attacks, and asks what it feels like to be beaten by a friend's technique. On Kaioushin Kai, Gokuu curses the situation, and Rou Kaioushin-sama says that if he wants to help, he can. Gokuu says he can't, and Kaioushin-sama explains that Gokuu can no longer return to the world of the living. But Rou Kaioushin-sama knows that, and so he's gonna give Gokuu his life. Kibit and Kaioushin-sama highly object to his giving away his life force to a mere mortal, and Rou Kaioushin-sama says Buu'd end up coming here and killing them anyways. Kaioushin-sama says to at least let him give up his life force, but Rou Kaioushin-sama tells him no, he's still young, but he's only got a thousand years left. Meanwhile, Gohan's still trapped in the donuts. Buu prepares to fire off a blast that it says is Gohan's very own attack (looks like the Kamehameha), and says that's probably how Gohan would wanna die. Buu fires it off, screaming that he was boring, and Gohan breaks free of the donuts just in time to dodge it. And then, in the afterlife, Enma-sama tells SOMEONE that he left his spirit and body alone, and tells Baba to take him to the Earth. Break out the champagne, it's Vegeta! Vegeta says they have to rely on him, but since it's Ma-jin Buu, it's probably pointless. On Kaioushin Kai, meanwhile, Rou Kaioushin-sama kills over, and Gokuu's halo disappears, and then Rou Kaioushin-sama gets one. Gokuu says he won't waste his new life, and Rou Kaioushin-sama says to hurry then, or his death'll be meaningless. Back on Earth, Buu says Gohan's had a crappy life, and yet he'd still probably love to have another second to live.

501: Gohan comes at Buu, and then Buu elbows him in the back and sends him towards the ground. Gohan fires up a blast, and Buu just swats it back Gohan's way, and the blast goes straight through the ground, out into space. Gohan's lying on the ground, pretty beat down, and then Buu hovers over him and says to keep it busy for the next ten minutes. Mr. Satan, meanwhile, tells Dende to take the puppy and get outta the way, since he'd brought a gun, just in case. And on Kaioushin Kai, Gokuu prepares to Shunkan Idou his way outta there, but Rou Kaioushin-sama says to wait, and asks how he's gonna beat Buu, he stands no chance. Gokuu thinks a minute, and then says he and Gohan'll use Fusion, but Rou Kaioushin-sama says Buu wouldn't let them go through with it. So Gokuu asks the old man what he thinks he should do, and Rou Kaioushin-sama pulls off his earrings, the Potara earrings. He says to put one on his ear, and have Gohan put the other on his, that's it, and it's better than Fusion. Rou Kaioushin-sama tells Kaioushin-sama to try it with Kibit, and so Kaioushin-sama gives Kibit one of his earrings, and then, something happens! Back on Earth, Gohan flies through a random mountain thing, and Dende flies over to heal him. Buu thinks it's gonna finish him off, and then notices that Gohan's been healed, and wonders about the weird kid, and thinks he's just delaying the inevitable. Buu prepares to fire off a blast, and Gohan gets ready to shield himself, and then Buu fires it off towards Dende. There's no time for Gohan to stop it, but, oh! Mr. Satan fires off a bullet and blows the blast outta the way. Or did he? We see a pair of hands forming a triangle, and that can only mean one thing: Kikouhou (Tri-Beam). YEAH!!!!! Ten-san tells Gohan he's changed a lot, and Buu has also. Buu thinks the new dude's nothing (ha!). Back on Kaioushin Kai, uh, it's Kaioubit. Kaioushin-sama and Kibit have fused, and Kaioubit thinks he can fight alongside Gokuu, but Rou Kaioushin-sama says no, they were both weak to begin with. Gokuu asks how long that lasts, and Rou Kaioushin-sama says the Potara earrings have no limits, and it lasts forever. Kaioubit doesn't look too thrilled to hear that. Gokuu wonders if he really wants to be fused for all of eternity, but there's no other way, and thinks about how he might have to go to Gohan's school. Rou Kaioushin-sama tells him to hurry his ass up, and off Gokuu goes, saying thanks, he'll be back. Then, Buu forms a huge ball of ki overhead, and says they'll all die with the rest of the Earth, and Gohan looks on in horror. Ten-san thinks there's nothing he can do now, and Mr. Satan asks for its forgiveness as he points the gun at Buu.

502: Before Gokuu leaves, though, he asks if they should turn Super Saiya-jin before they do it. Rou Kaioushin-sama says no, he'd spend the rest of his life like that, and the strain on the body caused by SSJ would shorten the life-span. Rou Kaioushin-sama continues, saying to transform afterwards, but it probably won't be necessary, considering the power of the Potara. And, also, you can only use them once in your life, and Gokuu asks him if he's ever used the Potaras with someone. Rou Kaioushin-sama says a long time ago, an old witch put on one of his earrings, and that's why he's ugly and has these freaky powers. Kaioubit looks in the crystal ball and says he has to hurry, and then Gokuu says "Sayonara!" and really leaves this time. Buu prepares to launch the big ball thing, and Gohan, Tenshinhan, and Dende look on in terror while Mr. Satan prepares to fire off his gun. Then, Gokuu shows up behind it, and fires off what looks like a Kienzan, and chops Buu in half, and cuts off part of its thing on its head (remember this). Everyone wonders how/why Gokuu's here, and Satan can't believe he shot Buu in half. Buu's top half turns around and recognizes Gokuu as the dude with all the transformations. Buu says he's useless, since it's gotten a lot stronger since last they met. Then Gokuu smiles and says he's got a special item to beat Buu this time. Buu asks about this, and then its lower half delivers a hard kick to Ten-san, knocking him out. The lower half rejoins with the upper, and Buu tells Gokuu he can't do anything to it. Then Gokuu asks why it bothered to restore itself if that's the case, and Buu says he must have a death wish. Gokuu tells Gohan to catch, and throws the other Potara to him, but he misses. Gokuu yells to hurry and find it so they can fuse and defeat Buu, and Buu says even though it doesn't think that would work, it'll stop them nonetheless. Buu says it'll kill Gokuu first, and Gokuu asks it to just wait a minute, and Gohan says he can't find it. Buu rushes at Gokuu, and so, Gokuu decides to go SSJ3 to put up some kinda fight, and then Gohan finds it just before they start fighting. Gohan asks if it doesn't belong to Kaioushin-sama, and wants to know what to do with it. Then, Buu starts detransforming, and resembling Piccolo, meaning Gotenks has defused, and Gokuu also returns to normal, saying Gohan can probably handle it alone now. But then Buu mentions it has some insurance, and Gokuu asks about this. Buu points to the severed thing on its head, and then we see the piece moving behind Gohan, turning gooey, and then it engulfs Gohan, and the Potara drops to the ground. Buu starts to transform, and Gokuu rushes down to pick up the other Potara, thinking there's nothing left he can do. The transformation's complete, and Buu's excited now, it's wearing the same orange Gi Gohan was wearing, and likes that it's powered up, this time without a time limit. Gokuu thinks that without Gohan, he'll have to fuse with someone else. Tenshinhan's down, Dende's not a fighter, so all that's left is...Mr. Satan?!
