Everyone looks on in shock, and Darbura asks Babidi if that's Buu. He says Kaioushin's the only one there who's ever actually seen Buu. Gohan then asks Kaioushin-sama if it's really Buu, and he says yes, he'd never forget such a terrifying face. Ahem... ::remembers why Dan Akroid picked the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man in Ghostbusters:: Darbura and Babidi affirm that it really is Buu, and Gohan remarks that he thought it'd be bigger. Kaioushin-sama says it's too late to run, but Gohan says they won't need to, he thinks he can take it, if he unleashes all of his power. Gokuu and Vegeta, meanwhile, are real bloody and both look kind of exhausted. Gokuu says to stop, since a huge ki's surfaced, and it has to be Buu. Vegeta takes notice, and then laughs, saying it's nothing. They've gotten so strong, and what's scary to Kaioushin is nothing to them, he never thought Kaioushin was all that impressive. But Gokuu says there's something weird, and Vegeta yells at him for trying to get out of their fight. Back at, uh, the other place, Babidi tells Buu he's the son of its creator, Bibidi, and now he's its master. Buu just looks away and Babidi yells at it for not paying attention to its master. Then, suddenly, Buu turns around and sticks its tongue out in Babidi's face, scaring the shit out of him. And Buu giggles as Babidi gasps for breath. Gohan's speechless, and Darbura thinks it's a moron. Babidi thinks he's made a mistake, and it's just a brainless weakling. Then Buu looks towards Darbura, and starts dancing and puts up its dukes. Darbura tells it it's stupid for wanting to fight him. Gohan tells Kaioushin-sama that he was wrong about Buu, but he assures Gohan he isn't. Then Buu starts puffing out some smoke, and then it pokes out Darbura's eyes and kicks him into a random mountain thing. Gohan and Babidi freak out at its power, and Kaioushin-sama's pissed about it. Buu does a little dance and claps, and Babidi commends its actions.
Babidi still thinks it's great as Buu dances around, and Gohan's freaked about how suddenly its ki grew, and how much it grew. Trunks and Goten, meanwhile, notice the large ki as well, and think that might be even more interesting, and head in that direction. Elsewhere, Gokuu says they've underestimated Buu, and they should stop fighting since it's their fault it's been revived. But Vegeta doesn't care, it doesn't concern their fight. Gokuu says it might kill Trunks and Buruma, and Vegeta tells him to shut up. He let himself get possessed so he wouldn't be plagued by that weakness, and he doesn't care about anyone. Gokuu says he's not completely evil, and Vegeta relents, since Kakarott wouldn't be totally focused on their fight anyways. Then Vegeta tells him to give him a Senzu bean, and as Gokuu pulls the last one out, saying they'll definitely beat Buu if they work together, Vegeta gets behind him and whacks him in the back of the neck. Gokuu gets knocked out, and Vegeta notes that even he drops his guard when he's tired. Vegeta eats the yummy magical bean, and says that he'll take care of Buu, since he let it out, and they'll finish the fight afterwards. If he lives, that is. Babidi tells Buu that it has to do what he says, and Buu just sticks its tongue out. Babidi asks Buu if it's planning to rebel, because he's read his dad's notes, including the spell about putting it back in the sphere. Buu doesn't wanna go back in there, so it bows, and Babidi thinks that's better. Gohan thinks that since Buu is so childish that if they kill Babidi, it won't be much of a problem. Kaioushin-sama says they need Babidi to put Buu back in the sphere, since, eventually, Buu will become uncontrollable. He can't stand that even he, a Kaioushin, can do nothing, and he thought they'd be able to stop Buu's revival. If he'd known how strong the humans were, they could've tried the other way. Gohan asks about the other way, and Kaioushin-sama continues that's it's too late, they're both doomed. Gohan says they can still run, and then Babidi orders Buu to kill them. "Buu!" Gohan grabs Kaioushin-sama by the arm and flies outta there, saying he has faith in his speed. Babidi orders it to go after him, and in seconds, Buu's right in front of them, sticking out its tongue. Then it smashes Gohan into a random mountain thing, and faces Kaioushin-sama with an almost evil grin (too cute to be fully evil). It claps its hands and smashes Kaioushin-sama's head between them, and then Buu pounds him into another random mountain thing. Gohan gets up, and Babidi plays cheerleader.
Kaioushin-sama gets up, and Buu dances around near him. Buu blocks his way, singing, and he starts to get pissed. Buu does a little somersault thing, and lands ass-first on Kaioushin-sama's back. Ouch... Babidi spits out stuff about taking a nap not being god-like, and he thinks he'll kill Kaioushin himself. Then Gohan kicks Buu in the face, leaving a big dent. But Buu dances around, and poof! Its cheek restores itself to its former shape. Babidi runs away, and Gohan worries about how his kick didn't affect it at all. Buu tells Gohan that he bothers it, and says to go away. Gohan rushes at it with a punch, but then Buu holds up its hands and lets out this huge blast at Gohan which knocks him off into the distance. Babidi tells him to keep going to the edge of the universe, and Kaioushin-sama looks on in horror, quietly begging him not to die, as the blast detonates and Gohan falls towards the ground. He falls down peacefully, lying in a grassy little forest. Babidi then tells Buu to finish off Kaioushin, and it decides to eat him instead, since it's hungry. Then, suddenly, a bad-ass looking spear drives straight through Buu's stomach. Bad-ass weaponry, that can only mean one thing... Darbura's back, and he's pissed. Babidi wonders how he's still alive, and then Trunks and Goten arrive on the scene, sort of. They peak over the random mountain thing, and notice Kaioushin-sama as the purple dude from the Budoukai. They notice he's all beaten up, and wonder which one's Buu, and then they suddenly notice something else. They head over towards the Piccolo and Kuririn statues, and think they're weird. Then, Trunks knocks on the Piccolo statue and it falls over and breaks. Trunks broke the devil! Then they duck down and hope nobody noticed. Darbura tells Babidi that Buu won't obey him forever, and Babidi gets mad about him insulting his Buu. Then Buu pulls out the spear, the little hole seals up, and it tells the surprised Darbura that it's gonna eat him.
Vegeta is over near the little hole thing that leads down into the next level, and he decides that if he destroys it, he'll be in the ship, and if he's in the ship, he'll be near Babidi. He says he can no longer feel Gohan's ki, and asks for forgiveness. Trunks and Goten, meanwhile, continue overlooking as Buu dances around proclaiming its plan to consume Darbura. Darbura goes at it, and then the little thing on Buu's head glows and zaps him. And then Buu picks up the big Darbura cookie, and scarfs it down. Goten and Trunks freak out, and Babidi falls even more in love with it. Then, suddenly, Kuririn's back to normal. Trunks and Goten notice him, and Kuririn asks what they're doing there as they talk about how he was a statue. Kuririn explains that Darbura, the horned (horny?) dude can spit on you and turn you to stone. Goten realizes Darbura must've been the dude who got eaten, and Trunks continues that his death must've restored Kuririn. And then Trunks goes to look at his little mess, as Goten tells Kuririn that Trunks broke the Piccolo statue. Kuririn gets one of those looks, and Trunks notices Piccolo's still in pieces... Trunks goes back and says they should keep it a secret, and then, oh! Piccolo's alright. Damn...I mean, yay! Piccolo quickly ducks down after noticing the huge ki that he realizes must belong to Buu. Trunks asks how he survived, and Piccolo explains he can regenerate so long as his head's left intact. Piccolo then asks about Gokuu and everyone, but they don't know either. Kuririn asks about Buu or something, and Babidi instructs it to kill Kaioushin. Piccolo freaks out, but Kuririn reminds him there isn't really anything either of them can do. Goten tells about how being stabbed with a spear didn't affect it, and how it ate Darbura. Buu wonders what it should turn Kaioushin into, candy, chocolate, and then there's a big explosion behind Babidi. Babidi screams about his ship being destroyed, and then Vegeta makes one of his dramatic entrances. Trunks is glad to see his dad, and Babidi says he didn't tell Vegeta to blow up the ship. Vegeta asks if the fat-ass is Buu, and tells it it shouldn't have killed Gohan. Piccolo freaks at the news about his little buddy, and Babidi explains to Buu that Vegeta's just insulted it. Then Buu puffs out some smoke and says it's gonna kill Vegeta, and Babidi doesn't care, he thinks Vegeta's useless to him now. Vegeta says he's gonna take Buu and Babidi to hell with him, and Kaioushin-sama wonders if Vegeta plans on dying. And then Vegeta starts attacking Buu.
Vegeta continues delivering the abuse, and Babidi wonders why Buu isn't killing him (or even fighting back, for that matter). Kuririn, Goten, and Trunks are all cheering on, thinking Vegeta's gonna win. But Piccolo, on the other hand, notes that he's also surpassed Super Saiya-jin, and is stronger than Gohan was fighting Cell, but then again, Gohan was killed by Buu. The fighting continues, and then Buu puffs itself back to normal. And then Vegeta holds up his hand, and fires a huge blast straight through its big, vast stomach. It tumbles to the ground seemingly dead, terrifying Babidi. Vegeta smirks, and Trunks and Goten're excited, until it gets back up. Buu puffs the big hole in its stomach back to normal and says that that hurt a little bit. Vegeta's pissed about it still being alive, and Babidi continues cheering on his big bundle of joy. Then Buu starts charging up, affecting nature as it does so, and everyone looks on in astonishment as it begins a massive explosion. Babidi creates a barrier, the four on the cliff attempt to fly away, and Vegeta shields himself as it detonates. Immense explosion, this is, leaving a very large crater, with Buu floating over it. Babidi's unharmed, and Kuririn, Goten, Trunks, and Piccolo seem to be fine, although Piccolo is more worried about Kaioushin-sama, who was too beaten up to get away. And then they notice Vegeta, who's not in such good shape. He was practically in the middle of it, after all.
Vegeta's pretty bloody, and he's holding his left arm. He's impressed by Buu's power, and he's mad at it for being damn near invincible. Babidi says he's lucky to be alive at all, having turned on him and everything. Piccolo worries about how even Vegeta's powerless to stop it, and Gohan's dead, and Kaioushin-sama's probably dead too. Trunks doesn't think his dad'll lose, but Piccolo won't assure him of it. Buu smiles at Vegeta and tells him he's gonna die, while Vegeta tries to think of a way to beat it. Then our gelatinous super villain pulls off a piece of its stomach, and starts stretching it out like dough. Vegeta wants to know what the disgusting bastard is planning, and then it spits out a little blast that Vegeta just barely dodges. It then throws its little stomach dough thing out at Vegeta and it wraps around him like a snake or garden hose or something. It giggles, and then starts singing and dancing as Vegeta falls to the ground all tied up in the stuff. Then it goes up to Vegeta and kicks him like a soccer ball, and Vegeta starts coughing up some blood as it claps with delight. Then it sits its fat ass on Vegeta and starts pounding on him. Kuririn asks if Gokuu and Gohan were killed, and Goten doesn't believe Gohan could be dead. Trunks starts to get really pissed, but Piccolo tries to convince him that interfering would only worsen Vegeta's suffering. But, of course, these kids aren't as fond of "Mr. Piccolo" as Gohan was, and Trunks goes Super Saiya-jin and rushes out towards the fight, with Goten doing the same. The two of them zoom past Babidi and Trunks kicks Buu right off of Vegeta through some random mountain things as Goten unwraps him. Babidi says that whoever those little dudes are, they're gonna die too. Piccolo then suddenly appears right behind Babidi, and says it's all his fault, not Buu's. Even if he's not strong enough to kill Buu, he's strong enough to kill him. Babidi says that he's only the one who can imprison Buu, and it'll destroy everything without him. But Piccolo says Buu'll destroy everything even if Babidi is alive, and Babidi just yells for Buu to come kill him. Then Piccolo just does one of those chops of his and off comes Babidi's head. Babidi's head keeps on talking, nevertheless, complaining about being killed by such a person, and how he's supposed to rule the universe and the what not. And his head falls down into the crater, and we see Vegeta with the kids looking over at Piccolo. And then Vegeta tells Trunks to take good care of his mother.
Trunks asks Vegeta what he meant by that, and Vegeta says for the two of them to leave, he's gonna kill Buu by himself. Trunks objects, talking about the magic of teamwork and stuff. But Vegeta says normal attacks don't work against it, and Trunks tries telling him how strong he and Goten are. Then Vegeta suddenly realizes that he's never given Trunks a hug before. And so he gives him one, despite some objections on Trunks's part (what eight-year-old boy doesn't find hugs embarrassing?). Vegeta smiles (it's his first actual friendly-looking smile, despite all the blood dripping down his face), and tells Trunks to take care of himself. And then he pops him on the back of the neck, knocking him out. And then he delivers a blow to the gut of Goten, knocking him out too. Kuririn looks on with fear, as he does seemingly everything, and Piccolo touches down near Vegeta. Piccolo and Vegeta both turn and look as Buu starts singing its way towards them, wanting to know who hit it. Vegeta then tells Piccolo to take the kids far away from there, and Piccolo realizes that Vegeta doesn't plan on living. Vegeta says nothing, and then asks if he'll meet Kakarott in the afterlife. Piccolo says it's doubtful, considering all the people he's killed, he'll end up having his soul cleansed and he'll have a fresh start of things. Vegeta doesn't much like that, and he tells Piccolo to hurry up and go. As Piccolo flies off, Buu says it's not gonna let them leave, and Vegeta tells it that it can kill them after it kills him. Piccolo calls for Kuririn to leave as he flies past him, and Vegeta tells Buu he knows exactly how to kill it. Vegeta charges up, and Kuririn asks Piccolo what he's doing. He explains that Vegeta's planning on sacrificing himself, he's fighting on behalf of others for the first time in his life. Vegeta then tells Buu he's going to blow it into so many pieces that it won't be able to regenerate. And then, to himself, he says goodbye to Buruma, Trunks, and even Kakarott. And then Vegeta causes himself to blow up somehow or other, creating an explosion that looks as though it may be even bigger than the one Buu made. Buu didn't get outta the way in time, and Piccolo and Kuririn look on from afar. But not that far.
In the little Capsule Corp plane, Buruma wonders why Vegeta did what he did. But Yamcha reassures her that they can bring back the dead with the Dragon Balls. Kamesennin says Vegeta seemed like he was his old self again, and then their plane suddenly feels the blunt of the explosion. Someone (Yamcha?) comments about the turbulence, and Kamesennin correctly recognizes it as an explosion. And Buruma has a strange feeling that it was Vegeta. Back on the battlefield, we see the crater created by Vegeta's explosion, and I'm now positive that his explosion was bigger than Buu's. And as for Vegeta himself, well, he's turned to stone, and he falls down into the crater and shatters. Kuririn actually seems kinda moved by it, and Piccolo tells him to take the kids while he goes to check out what happened. He also says for Kuririn to tell Vegeta's family about it. And, he doesn't know about Gokuu, but he heard Vegeta say that Gohan's dead. Piccolo then flies over and walks around the area, realizing that Vegeta created such a huge explosion that Buu can't regenerate. Then he spots Babidi's head, he's still alive, and thinks that's pathetic. And then, Piccolo notices some of Buu's pieces, and they start moving, and taking shape. They all form into tiny little Buus, and then come together to recreate the big Buu. Piccolo flies away, totally freaked by it. Buu is whole once more, and it starts dancing and giggling. Babidi then calls for Buu and tells it to put him back together. If it doesn't, he'll seal it away. So, Buu shoots out some magical energy stuff from the thing on its head, and Babidi is whole too. But he's mad about Buu letting them hurt him. He decides that they'll make the green dude and the two little dudes pay, and they'll terrorize the Earth rather than destroy it. Meanwhile, Piccolo delivers the bad news to Kuririn, who's seemingly upset that Vegeta died for nothing. Piccolo tells him the only safe place they can go is to God's palace (Kami's lookout). Then Babidi sits on Buu's back as it flies through the skies, and he declares that they'll keep killing people until those three show themselves. And then, suddenly, we see Kaioushin-sama struggling his way around somewhere, hoping that Gohan's still alive. Poor kid doesn't look it...
