Yamu and Supopo Bitchi fly off with their turkey baster/energy sucker thing, talking about how the Ma-jin can now be revived and Babidi will be pleased. Hmm... Kaioushin-sama also does some flying. Back at the Budoukai, Videl rushes towards the fallen Gohan, and the audience notices her full recovery. Kuririn thinks he should go too, and he tells Gokuu to go ahead, he has to talk to Juuhachigou. Vegeta is really pissed, though, Gokuu skipping out on their fight, and he doesn't care whether or not that dude was Kaioushin. Gokuu says that now's not the time, but Vegeta wants to settle the score once and for all, that's why he came to this stupid thing. Gokuu says they'll fight later, and Vegeta reminds him that he's only here for one day. So Gokuu says to just come with him, and they'll fight when they're done. Then Piccolo decides he's going and flies off, and Gokuu enters the ring and asks Kibit if he'll take care of Gohan. Kibit says they'll join up when Gohan recovers. Gokuu flies off, and Vegeta reluctantly follows. Juuhachigou says she isn't going, she wants to stay and win the money, and Kuririn reminds her not to kill anyone. He flies off, and she tells him to run away if there's trouble. Videl asks Kibit where everyone's off to, and he says she'll find out if she comes with. The Budoukai attendant dudes show up with a stretcher, but Kibit tells them to just watch. He puts his hand on Gohan's chest, and voila! Recovery begins. During the process, Kibit thinks to himself about how there's seemingly no limit to Gohan's powers, and also about how he can see why they wanted him. Mighty Mask looks on, cape thing flapping in the wind... Trunks wonders what just happened, if Gohan lost, and where their dads went, and Goten hopes Gohan's okay. And he is, apparently, he's fully healed, and wonders what kinda dude Kibit is. Kibit says he'll tell him on the way, and flies off. Mr. Satan wonders where Videl is, and some dude shows him, and he freaks out about her being with Gohan again. He doesn't want them to go out, even if he has those magic beans. Videl tells Gohan that she wants to go too. He tells her that it'll be too dangerous, but she promises not to get in the way. Gohan agrees, so long as she'll run off if it does get too dangerous, and she says she will. Off they go, and Satan's shocked about seeing Videl fly. He makes a FUNNY joke about flying girls, and Buruma and Chi-Chi and everyone wonder about where everyone went. The announcer thinks the Budoukai's been ruined. Kaioushin-sama notices Gokuu and Piccolo and Vegeta and Kuririn catching up to him [this'll be Group #1], and he tells Gokuu he's glad he came, he doesn't think he'd win without him. Gokuu asks if he thinks he can't beat those two, but Kaioushin-sama says no, those two are just pawns. A magician is behind it all, he tells us. A long time ago, far, far away, there was this evil magician named Bibidi, and he made this monster named Ma-jin Buu. Buu had no emotions, it was just born to kill. It destroyed hundreds of planets in only a few years. Vegeta thinks to himself that the Saiya-jin used to do that all the time, but Kaioushin-sama puts his telepathy to use and tells Vegeta he's wrong. Back then, there were five Kaioushins, all strong enough to kill Freeza in one blow, and Buu killed four of them. Gokuu thinks that's scary, and Vegeta's pissed about him bringing up Freeza. Kaioushin-sama continues, telling us that Buu's power put a strain on Bibidi, so he sealed it away. Elsewhere, Kibit tells Gohan and Videl [this'll be Group #2] that Bibidi sealed up Ma-jin Buu and brought it to the Earth, his next target. Kaioushin-sama was waiting until then, and he killed Bibidi before Buu's seal was broken. But he didn't mess with Buu, as not to disturb it. And only Bibidi could break the seal, anyways. He says that they've recently made a discovery, [back to Group #1] and Kaioushin-sama finishes the sentence by saying that Bibidi had a son just as bad as he was, and his name is Babidi! Heh, you get it? Bibidi Babidi Buu~
Gokuu asks if all they have to do is keep Buu from being resurrected? Yes, but to do that, they have to defeat Babidi, and he's probably just like his dad, strong magic, weak physical power. And Babidi uses the evil within one's heart to possess them to make up for that, as with Yamu and Supopo Bitchi, but he won't be a problem unless he possesses someone really powerful. [Group #2] Kibit says that Babidi'll need lots of energy to bring back Buu, and so that's why he sent those two to the Budoukai, to look for the perfect target, Gohan. And that's why he and Kaioushin-sama entered the Budoukai. They don't know where Buu is (it's in a sphere, by the way, it was shown earlier), that's why they're following the two scary dudes, to find Babidi. [Group #1] Gokuu asks why they didn't do something when Bibidi was killed. Kaioushin-sama says he couldn't do anything out of fear that Buu's seal would be broken, and its sphere was in a dangerous place or whatever. [Group #2] Kibit says they need to go faster. But Videl's already going full speed, and Gohan tells her she should go back, and she actually agrees this time. Gohan tells her to go back to the Budoukai and tell Goten or his mom what's going on if she sees them, and she says okay. And she asks him about being the golden haired dude after all, and Gohan says he wanted it to be a secret. Then Videl asks if it was his friends at the Cell Games seven years ago, and if he was the little kid with them. Yep. Then she knows it had to've been one of his friends who beat Cell, not her dad. Well... But she's not worried, she thought it was strange that her dad had won anyways. She tells Gohan to do his best and beat the Babidi dude, and she'll wait for him at the Budoukai. Then Gohan and Kibit fly ahead towards the others. To herself, Videl tells Gohan not to die, and she'll go out with him when he comes back. We see Yamu and Supopo Bitchi with their little turkey baster/energy sucker thing (oh yeah, that also has an M on it). Then Kibit and Gohan are caught up, [putting an end to all that switching] and Kaioushin-sama says the big scary dudes are gonna stop. They all touch down on this random mountain thing, and Kibit says something about them already checking that area, and they all lower their ki to keep from being detected. They all look over at this odd little structure (which, you guessed it, has an M on it) that the two of them are at with their thing, talking to some dude. Someone asks if the dude is Babidi, but he's not. And someone comments about the ground looking weird, as if it were dug up. Kibit realizes that Babidi's ship is underground, and that's why they never found him. And Kaioushin-sama realizes that they must know they're on the Earth, and Piccolo says to hurry up and attack before they revive Buu. But Kaioushin-sama says they're not gonna revive it underground, the ship'll get destroyed or something. Then someone else comes out of the odd structure, which is apparently Babidi's ship. It's Satan! Not Mr. Satan, but someone who looks incredibly demonic, and has an M on his forehead. And he's with a tiny little wrinkly dude who has an M, not on his head, but on his belt buckle, ha.
Kibit says that Babidi's possessed Darbura, the king of evil, and Kaioushin-sama comments about how he didn't realize Babidi was capable of possessing him. Gokuu asks if Darbura's the big one, and he is. Gokuu wants to know if he's strong, and Kaioushin-sama says he is. He says that one of them is probably the strongest in this universe, but Darbura's the strongest in the universe of evil. Kuririn does the usual "Oh my gosh, he's so strong" crap, and Gohan says that the little one must be Babidi. Babidi = little wrinkly dude. Heh, he's almost cute. Kaioushin-sama tells us that Babidi himself isn't all that strong, so he has to manipulate others through the evil within them, making them do what they think they've always wanted to do. Apparently his magic is strong enough even to control Darbura, an obvious candidate. Kibit says that the possession thing is his best spell, and only the pure-hearted should face him. They weren't expecting Darbura and Babidi, and Vegeta asks if they think they can't win. Vegeta continues that Buu won't be revived, he won't lose to people such as them. Gokuu tells Kuririn he should go back, it's too dangerous, and Kuririn more than obliges. Babidi comments about the thing being almost full, and Yamu and Supopo Bitchi gloat about their good work. Babidi says they're now expendable, and does this nasty exploding thing to Supopo Bitchi. And he totally deserves it, dude, Videl was a mess. Yamu tries to fly off, and then Babidi lets his little soldier dude Pui-Pui handle it. Pui-Pui fires off some blast thing with his wrist watch or whatever, and we have another explosion. Bye bye, hairless scary dudes. Gohan wonders about these dudes who'd kill their own men. Babidi tells Darbura that Yamu brought in plenty of energy, and that Kaioushin, the dude who killed his dad, is also there. Darbura says he knows all seven of em're up there, and even if they can't use the energy from Kaioushin or Kibit, they can get energy from the others. Babidi agrees, and says how he never thought Buu would be revived so soon. He also says they should lure them into the ship, but Darbura says Kaioushin wouldn't let them. Babidi tells Darbura to get rid of all but the strongest three, and then retreat, and they'll probably follow. And don't kill Kaioushin either, Babidi wants him for himself. Babidi goes in the ship with the turkey baster/energy sucker thing and tells Pui-Pui to come with, and the Z Senshi take note of the fact that all but Darbura went in. Kaioushin-sama knows something's up, and Vegeta yells out that they know about them as Darbura charges their way.
Darbura continues coming at them, and then he flies up to Kibit, puts his hand in front of his face, and blows the shit outta him. Quite gruesome... And before anyone can really act, he proceeds to spit on Kuririn and Piccolo, who weren't given time to react to Kaioushin-sama's warning about his saliva. Kuririn and Piccolo are now both statues, and Kaioushin-sama says that if they break, they'll never return to normal. Gokuu asks how to change them back, and Kaioushin-sama says they'll return to normal once Darbura is dead. Gokuu thinks it's great that the way to change them back is something so easy. Then Darbura leaves, and Gohan prepares to follow, doing the "We gotta save em!" thing to Gokuu, who follows just afterwards. Kaioushin-sama calls out that they're just playing into Babidi's trap (is there anything this dude doesn't know?), and Vegeta follows, telling him about the Saiya-jin lack of patience. Darbura enters the ship, doing the usual villain smirk type thing on the way in, and Kaioushin-sama reluctantly follows the rest of em. Our three delightful Saiya-jin head into the ship and hop down this little tunnel thing in the middle and swoop down, as Babidi watches on his crystal ball with Darbura. Then they're suddenly in this big, round, empty room with a single door, and then Kaioushin-sama hops down and joins them because of their foolishness. He says that there's no way to leave the ship short of killing Babidi, and Vegeta says he could easily blow up the entire ship. But Kaioushin-sama says it'll wake up Buu if he does. Babidi notices him in the crystal ball, and tells Pui-Pui to go take their energy. Pui-Pui comes out through the door in the big round room they're in, and tells them that Babidi's on the bottom floor, and the only way down there is through him, so they're all gonna die right there. Gokuu disagrees. Oh yeah, I don't think I mentioned that Pui-Pui also has an M on his head.
Babidi shoves the turkey baster/energy sucker thing in the hole in Buu's sphere (naughty wording...), and then takes it out and looks at the clock thing. Oh yeah, I guess there's a clock thing (energy meter) on the turkey baster/energy sucker thing, too. Babidi's surprised they'd gotten so much energy, nearly half the required amount, and Darbura asks how many hundreds of people they'd taken it from. Babidi hadn't asked, and if he'd known they'd gotten so much, he wouldn't have killed them. But Darbura says not to worry, as the three fighting will probably provide enough for them to revive Buu today. Babidi says that's why he brought those three here, and wonders if Pui-Pui's done yet. He and Darbura fly up a floor and look into the crystal ball, and notice that they haven't even started. Pui-Pui looks on as our three friendly Super Saiya-jin decide who'll go first. "Paper, Rock, Scissors!" Babidi wonders what they're doing, and Vegeta wins. Kaioushin-sama is shocked that he's going to fight him alone. Pui-Pui says that Babidi had warned him about their strength, but he thinks they're just stupid. Vegeta says Babidi's the stupid one, and they're the strongest in the universe, which makes Pui-Pui laugh. Kaioushin-sama says not to underestimate Babidi, but Gokuu tells him not to worry. Pui-Pui says they're gonna die again, and that all the damage they receive will convert to energy that will aid in reviving Buu. Vegeta figures it's not a problem, he just won't get hurt, but Pui-Pui says that's just wishful thinking. Vegeta tells him to come on, and Pui-Pui goes at him with a kick, but Vegeta just catches his foot and knocks him into the wall. Pui-Pui gets up, and Vegeta kicks him into the ceiling. He comes down, and Vegeta comes behind him and starts punching him. Babidi, Darbura, and Kaioushin-sama're all shocked, and Babidi asks Darbura what Pui-Pui's favorite place is, and he says Zun, some place with high gravity. "Papparapa!" Babidi changes the room they're fighting in into the planet Zun or whatever. Kaioushin-sama explains how Babidi changed it to give Pui-Pui the advantage. Once again, Pui-Pui tells Vegeta that he's gonna die, as this place has ten times Earth's gravity. But of course, Vegeta explains that 10G is nothing to him, and flies up to him and blows him up. Messy, and Babidi and Kaioushin-sama are both shocked. Vegeta's pissed about Babidi giving him a weak opponent, and Gokuu notices a hole in the floor opening up. Gohan thinks it's like a video game, Vegeta thinks it's stupid, and Gokuu tells Kaioushin-sama (who's in awe over the power they possess) to come with as they all three hop down the hole. Babidi's none too thrilled. Gokuu says it's just like the last room, and Gohan says Babidi'll probably change it again. Babidi says there wasn't anyone this powerful on Earth three hundred years ago, but Darbura assures him that even if they get through the next three levels, they won't get past him.
We see this little map of Babidi's ship first off. Darbura asks who'll they use for the second level, and Babidi says Yakon. Darbura's surprised that he's using Yakon so early, but Babidi says they defeated Pui-Pui too easily. But Darbura says they'd be too easily defeated and the fun would be over if they use Yakon. But Babidi says Buu's more important than fun. Darbura tells some dude to go get Yakon, and Vegeta thinks they should just blow up the floor and go down. Kaioushin-sama says no, since they might wake up Buu, but Vegeta says Buu's probably nothing, just like Darbura. He says Darbura isn't all that tough, Kibit was just clumsy. Kaioushin-sama asks Gokuu, and he says he agrees. Gokuu says that once upon a time Darbura might've been a challenge, but he's probably at about the same level Cell was seven years ago. Kaioushin-sama can't believe the Saiya-jin strength, and Gokuu complains about the wait since his turn's next. And out comes Yakon, a big, freaky, drooling cross between a raptor and a frog. The M's on his chest. He wants to know who he gets to eat, and Gokuu says he'll fight him even though he's no challenge. Kaioushin-sama realizes that it must be Yakon (damn, he does know everything). Yakon charges at Gokuu, and he's surprisingly fast. He misses Gokuu, but he does scratch his Gi with one of his claws. Gohan notes his speed, and Kaioushin-sama suggests that they jump him GANGSTA STYLE, but Gohan says Gokuu won't need help. Yakon whips out these big ass claws from his wrists, and Babidi encourages him from afar, telling him to kill all but Kaioushin, and take all their energy. Babidi says he'll even take him to the planet Ankoku to speed it up. Darbura thinks it isn't necessary, but Babidi says fighting in the ship might wake up Buu, and he wants it revived at full power. "Papparapa!" They're in complete darkness, but Yakon (and us) can still see everyone perfectly. He comes at Gokuu swiping those bad-ass claws, misses, and Gokuu kicks him in the face. Gokuu says there are other ways of finding him than with eyes alone, and besides that, he could still find a way to see him. Such as turning Super Saiya-jin, which totally brightens the scene. Babidi's shocked.
Babidi wonders how he's changed, and Darbura says he's just glowing. Babidi tells random servant dude to go get the highest clock thing (energy meter), as Gokuu lectures Yakon about underestimating him. Yakon just chuckles, and Gokuu asks why he's not worried, as Babidi says something about Gokuu's power being 3000 kilis. Darbura says that no Earthling, or any race for that matter, could be that powerful. Babidi wonders if the clock thing isn't broken, as Yakon's only 800 kilis, and he'll lose if Gokuu really is 3000. Yakon opens his mouth really wide, and begins inhaling, and he literally sucks the Super Saiya-jin away from Gokuu. Seriously, it flies away in a big ol' ball, and Yakon swallows it. Gohan says it's dark again, and Vegeta says it's just Gokuu who's changed. Kaioushin-sama remembers that Yakon eats light energy, and SSJ is the perfect snack for such a creature. Yakon says it was delicious, and Gohan yells out to Gokuu what Kaioushin-sama just said. Yakon tells Gokuu to please try again, as he really enjoyed it, and Gokuu promptly agress. Vegeta wonders about his intentions, and Gohan says he'll help, but Gokuu doesn't need it. He transforms again, and Kaioushin-sama says he's being stupid to fight alone, but Vegeta explains he's probably got a plan. Yakon sucks (ha, pun), and Babidi yells that eating the energy keeps them from collecting it for Buu's revival. Gokuu powers up to Super Saiya-jin 2, and Yakon keeps sucking until he explodes. The floor thing opens, and Vegeta notes that Gokuu has now also surpassed Super Saiya-jin. Gohan praises his dad, saying he had a huge ki during the fight. Babidi's shocked about Yakon, but Darbura just says he was being foolish for worrying about eating. But Babidi thinks something went wrong, and Darbura tells him not to worry, he'll fight the third level himself. Babidi thinks he must have a plan, and Darbura assures him that the king of evil can't be beaten with just raw power.
Gokuu asks Gohan if he's been training, since his turn's next, and Vegeta says he hasn't, and they're both probably stronger than he is now. Kaioushin-sama realizes that they're so confident because they can all transform like Gokuu did, and he can't believe that he's been surpassed by mere mortals. Darbura steps outta the door, and Kaioushin-sama freaks out. He's impressed that mere humans killed Yakon, but it ends there with him. Vegeta's unimpressed with Babidi for sending out his right-hand man so soon, and Darbura challenges Vegeta to attack him. But Gohan interjects and says it's his turn, pissing off Darbura. Back at the Budoukai, the announcer tells everyone that the judges are deciding what to do about the lack of competitors. Kamesennin says something big must be happening, lots of large kis are gathering. Mr. Satan tells the other four remaining contestants (Juuhachigou, Mighty Mask, Keela, and Jewel) that the others all left out of fear of facing him, so they're all truly brave. Mr. Satan comes out, everyone cheers for him, and he tells the judges that he's got an idea. Naturally. He says they'll have a battle royal, and it'll be much more interesting having five fight at once. The announcer announces it, and some dude tells Satan he's impressed at his courage. Since he's the strongest, everyone will go after him, but Satan promptly explains that he's a true champion, and fears nothing. Then he does one of those scared faces. The announcer introduces the competitors, starting with our champion, Mr. Satan! Then, the only girl there, who has the weird name, Juuhachigou! And Mighty Mask, who lost at the last Budoukai! Keela, who also lost last time, but made it to the quarterfinals! And lastly, Jewel, who the ladies all love! Keela tells Mighty Mask they should team up against Satan, who replies that Juuhachigou is the only strong one there. Jewel goes up to Juuhachigou and starts flirting with her, and she blows him off. And then the fight starts. Jewel charges at Juuhachigou, insulted, and she just kicks him outta the ring. Then Mighty Mask knocks Keela out. Satan thinks it's great that only the two weaklings are left. Juuhachigou thinks Mighty Mask hits really hard for someone with such little arms, and Trunks reminds Goten that she was once stronger than their dads. Satan challenges them both as they ignore him and stare each other down.
